Designing personalised, dynamic video ads to engage sports audiences
Greene King wanted to drive awareness and bookings by promoting their Flaming Grill pubs in the build up to Six Nations matches.
With competition for share of voice on social media so fierce, they wanted to test their current creative against new dynamic, data-driven ads to see if they could improve their results.
Using Genius Creative, Greene King created dynamic video ads that used sports data to promote their pub locations ahead of Six Nations matches via Genius Sports’ live data API integration with Meta.
The ads auto-updated with every week’s fixtures and the nearest pub location for each fan. This was run as an A/B test against their existing creative to test the impact of dynamic, personalised creative.
The personalised, data-driven video ads came out on top against
the existing creative across key campaign metrics.
