<h2>The Challenge</h2>
For most sports leagues, their methods and tools for data collection, fan engagement, performance analysis and more  are fragmented, deploying separate solutions for each.  
This fragmentation is bad for sports. When these approaches are siloed, overall efficiency suffers. It also proves more costly, reducing the capacity for leagues to innovate and deliver for their partners, teams and fans.  
The LKL wanted to break from this fragmentation and invest in a solution that could help them maximise their greatest assets all at the same time.

The Betsafe-LKL became the first basketball league in Europe to implement a single system, which leverages computer vision technology, to automate the real-time capture of optical tracking data, event data, and broadcast-quality live video production.

Airing on LRT to an audience of over one million fans, the King Mindaugas Final Four broadcast leveraged real-time, in-game statistics, such as shot probabilities and distances, as well as player IDs 

The broadcasts also featured innovative augmented sponsorship activations for league partner Krekenavos, whose logo was displayed dynamically during key match moments – such as after a basket
