The Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (“CEV”), in partnership with Genius Sports, has officially launched the CEV Champions League Fantasy and CEV Champions League Match Predictor games to transform the fan experience on the biggest club competition In world volleyball.
CEV Champions League Fantasy is a first-of-its-kind experience for CEV, giving fans the opportunity to become the coach of their own team across the men’s and women’s competitions. Fans can pick a team of twelve players with specific assigned positions inside a dedicated team budget of 100 million.
Points will be obtained based on a wide range of offensive and defensive actions including serves, blocks, receptions and attacks with data captured by Genius Sports’ e-Scoresheet solution, the preeminent live scoring tool in world volleyball. Players can compete each week with their friends and family in public and private leagues with an unlimited number of transfers up until the start of the first match of the Champions League.
CEV Champions League Match Predictor will test fans’ knowledge across the men’s and women’s competitions, asking them to predict the winner and correct score for upcoming games. Fans are awarded points levels based on the accuracy of their predictions with a tiebreaker prediction in case there are other players who end up on the same number of points.

Both games have been developed and launched in partnership with Genius Sports, a global leader in bespoke gamification solutions and a long-term technology partner to CEV. Genius Sports’ live scoring, coaching and competition management solutions are used across CEV’s indoor, beach and snow volleyball events.
