Media Buying Services and TCF Privacy Notice
This privacy notice (“Privacy Notice”) describes the processing of personal data by Genius Sports Group (“Genius Sports”, “we”, “us” or “our”) on behalf of our business customers (“Customers”) in connection with the use of our Programmatic Marketing Services and Ad Serving Services (“Media Buying Services” or “Services”). This Privacy Notice applies only to our collection and processing of personal data from visitors to our Customers’ websites and mobile apps (“Customer Sites”).
We keep our privacy practices under review and may amend this policy from time to time. This version is dated July 2023.
This Notice does not cover personal data that we process when you visit geniussports.com. That information can be found in our Cookie Policy.
Genius Sports only processes personal data of individual end-users of our Customers (“User Data”) based on the instructions of our Customers and on their behalf in connection with the Services.
The Customers are the responsible entities for the processing of User Data. From a data protection perspective, our Customers are “data controllers” or “businesses” and Genius Sports is a “data processor” or “service provider”, depending on applicable data protection laws.
Genius Sports provides Media Buying Services to its Customers, which require the processing of User Data by Genius Sports as a data processor or service provider. These services are:
Programmatic Marketing Service: automatically serve Ads to Users via DSP’s on behalf of Customers
Ad Serving Services: generate, run, and monitor Ads on behalf of Customers to aid in tracking of user interactions with the Ads from the Programmatic Marketing Service

Genius Sports participates in the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework and complies with its Specifications and Policies. Genius Sports’s identification number within the framework is 87 and 1251.
